Manager of Hospital BillingThe Manager of Hospital Billing provides operational leadership for hospital billing functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high performance across all activities. This role partners closely with leadership to support managed services operations and drive revenue cycle success. The Manager oversees daily operations, leads teams, and collaborates on initiatives that enhance billing performance and workflow efficiency.Remote / Regional TravelWe are seeking a high-caliber HB Manager for a remote-first role that maintains a strong connection to our Maryland operations. This position requires periodic onsite presence in Annapolis, MD (ranging from monthly to twice per quarter) to facilitate high-level communication and accountability with the client.Key ResponsibilitiesLead hospital billing teams to ensure timely, accurate claim submission and follow-upPartner with leadership to implement strategies aligned with revenue cycle objectivesMonitor billing performance metrics, identify trends, and execute corrective actions to meet KPIsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and payer regulations governing hospital billingCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve escalated billing issues and improve workflowsProvide coaching, training, and performance management to support staff developmentSupport technology initiatives, including optimization of electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic)Assist with resource planning and operational improvements to achieve departmental goalsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree required6–8 years of healthcare billing operations experienceMinimum 3 years in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of hospital and professional billing processesExperience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems preferredCurrent permanent U.S. work authorization requiredProven ability to analyze performance metrics, manage teams, and drive process improvementsPreferred QualificationsStrategic & Analytical CapabilitiesAdvanced ability to synthesize complex data and translate insights into measurable improvementsExperience leading workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiativesExposure to budget planning and multi-workstream performance improvement projectsLeadership & Interpersonal SkillsDemonstrated success leading through organizational changeStrong stakeholder management and influencing skillsExperience mentoring and developing team membersScheduleMonday – FridayCompensation & Additional InformationSalary range: $80,000 – $105,000Onsite role in the Annapolis, Maryland area (local candidates or relocation required)Relocation assistance may be supported through sign-on incentivesPotential flexibility for contract-to-hire arrangements in select cases
