Daily and concurrently involved in the management of inpatient and observation patients by comprehensive assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluations of appropriate level of care. Collaborate with other members of the health care team to ensure the above according to the mission of the facility. Will work with complex pediatric patients; can see up to ten or more cases a day.Minimum Required Qualifications –Graduate of an accredited school of NursingTX/compact RN license5+ years in clinical practice for population to be served2+ years minimum of acute care hospital experienceProficient word processing skills in a Windows environmentAbility to analyze and create reports and presentations via software applicationsPreferred Qualifications –BSNCPRCCMCase Management/Resource Management and discharge planning experienceMilliman (MCG) Guideline and Interqual criteria experienceFamiliarity with MIDAS and Meditech systemsBilingual (English/Spanish)LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT – 13 weeksSHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK – 8a-5p.
