Quality Technician - Day Shift
Quality TechnicianDay Shift: work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, off 3 days (6am to 6pm)Pay: $22.50/hr. with increase opportunities after 120 daysRequirements:1-2 years of experience with quality experience; preferably within the printing, food, or regulated industry with knowledge of GMP's (21CFR 110/111/210/211)Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essentialExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent time management skillsAttention to detail is essentialAbility to work rotating shift 2-2-3-3; including weekends when scheduledPrior experience in the food environment is beneficialAbility to walk, stand, sit, stoop, bend, twist and lift up to 50 pounds.Job Functions:Responsible for monitoring and identifying critical control points (CCP) within the processes.Responsible for monitoring processes and product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.Responsible for the correct documentation and filing of all relevant record logs and Documentation.Ensures the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.Ensures and educates employees on quality expectations.Collect product samples for the Quality lab.Perform inspections on in-process printing to ensure quality and accuracy of the print according to customer specifications.Identifying non-conformances and ensuring they are corrected "real time" when feasible.Working directly with Operations on the presses, slitter, lamination, etc. to identify areas for continuous improvement.Ensuring paperwork is accurate and filled out in a timely manner on the production lines.The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage401(k) plan with generous company matchBonus programPaid vacation and personal daysPaid holidaysCompany-paid life and AD&D insuranceCompany paid short-term disability coverageEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)
