We are growing our market development capabilities and are looking for a driven, resourceful specialist to help build our pipeline, strengthen trade relationships, and expand our market presence.Role SummaryThis is a top-of-funnel role focused on market development, pipeline building, and installer ecosystem growth. Working from our headquarters near Torrance with partial remote flexibility, you will research active construction projects, identify decision-makers, run outbound outreach, qualify leads, and book appointments for the sales team. You will also help build and maintain a network of factory-trained tile installers and coordinate training activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on prospecting, research, and relationship-building.Key ResponsibilitiesPipeline DevelopmentResearch active construction projects, permit filings, and development activity in target marketsIdentify and qualify key decision-makers: developers, builders, contractors, pool designers, architects, and design professionalsRun high-volume outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate interest and set appointmentsBuild and maintain a CRM pipeline of qualified opportunities for the sales teamTrack industry events, trade shows, and community meetings; coordinate attendance and follow-up with the sales teamInstaller Network DevelopmentRecruit qualified tile installers into the company's factory-trained installer programCoordinate with the Director of Technical Services on training content creation and deliverySchedule and support hands-on training workshops, certification sessions, and continuing educationMaintain the certified installer roster and track performance and availabilitySales Support and MaterialsCollaborate with Marketing to create tailored outreach materials, project-specific spec sheets, and presentation decks for the sales teamCompile market intelligence: competitive activity, pricing benchmarks, project timelines, and customer pain pointsManage a high volume of contacts, follow-ups, and project tracking without dropping threadsProvide general sales support and assist with additional territory coverage as capacity allowsQualificationsRequired2+ years in business development, sales support, market research, or a similar prospecting-oriented roleStrong research skills: ability to find and organize project data, contact information, and market intelligence from multiple sources (permit databases, LinkedIn, trade associations, community forums).
