We put people first, work to keep them safe and build trusting relationships.Your role in our success:This position will help ensure compliance across all tax domains-while supporting strategic initiatives to optimize tax benefits and mitigate exposure. This position also will also assist in preparing and reviewing US GAAP income tax entries and collaborates across departments to support financial reporting and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting multi-jurisdictional tax research, and supporting strategic planning initiatives to minimize tax liabilities and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments and with external advisors.What you'll be working on:Spearheading technology and process improvements (S4/HANA ERP, OneSource Compliance, Power Plan)Preparing, reviewing or filing consolidated federal and state tax returns, and supporting filesAssisting with tax planning projects and quarterly tax projectionsResearching tax opportunities and tax law changesEnsuring compliance with all filings, mandates, and law changesResponding to tax notices and auditsPerforming tax research and presenting findings to managementPerform other job-related duties, as assignedWho you are:Bachelor of Science in accounting, finance, business or other related fieldThree (3) years minimum of relevant tax experience in public accounting or corporate taxRegular Driver's LicenseExperience in S4/HANA preferredCertified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferredStrong analytical skillsStrong skills in MS ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work proactively and independentlyAbility to identify and implement process efficienciesAbility to manage multiple priorities and properly prioritizeSolid understanding of state tax lawsAbility to contribute as a team player and work effectively within a teamAbility to continuously learn to develop skills, enhance performance and prepare for growthBenefits/what's in it for you?Flexible work arrangementCompetitive base salaryFantastic opportunities for career growthCooperative, supportive and empowered team atmosphereAnnual bonus and salary increase opportunitiesMonthly recognition eventsEndless wellness initiatives and community eventsRobust and customizable benefit packages-choose what works best with your life.
