**17968BR****Title:**Plumber**Department/Cost Center:**826 - Maintenance**Job Description:**Working under the direction of the Maintenance Department Manager, the hospital plumber performs maintenance, inspection, repair, and installation of plumbing systems. This role ensures 24/7 operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with safety standards (NFPA, Joint Commission, local & NYS building codes) to support critical patient care and facility operations. Key duties include fixing leaks; servicing plumbing piping systems, equipment and fixtures; managing high and low pressure steam piping systems outside of central plant, and responding to plumbing emergencies**Salary Range:**$28.25-$37.33 an hour_The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Education: High School or GED; trade school or equivalent military training as well as certification and/or license in specialty.2. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of commercial or industrial plumbing experience, with 2 years of healthcare experience preferred.3. License/Certification Required: Valid New York State driver's license.4. Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and utilizing hand tools and testing devices.
