We're building the next generation of internal technology that powers our restoration, reconstruction, and business operations across multiple markets.We're looking for a Software Engineer II / Full Stack Developer to help evolve our enterprise platform. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll build new features, solve complex technical challenges, and help modernize a large ERP platform supporting real business operations.You'll work closely with our Technical Lead and business stakeholders to deliver scalable software that directly impacts our teams and customers.We embrace AI-assisted software development as part of our engineering culture. Successful candidates should be comfortable using modern AI coding assistants to accelerate development, troubleshoot issues, generate documentation, and improve productivity while maintaining high standards for code quality and architecture.Contractor ExpectationsThis opportunity is a 1099 Independent Contractor engagement and is not an offer of employment.The engagement is expected to average approximately 40 hours per week, although the contractor determines the time necessary to complete the contracted services.The contractor provides services under an independent contractor agreement and is responsible for determining the methods, means, and sequence of performing the contracted work, provided project deliverables, quality standards, and agreed-upon milestones are achieved.Contractors are expected to participate in recurring engineering team meetings between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM Central Time and coordinate effectively with project stakeholders.The contractor is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, including self-employment taxes, and is responsible for maintaining any required licenses, insurance, and business registrations applicable to their services.As a 1099 independent contractor, no employee benefits are provided, including health insurance, paid time off, retirement benefits, unemployment insurance, or workers' compensation
