A contracted Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Baltimore area, MD, specifically in Glen Burnie and surrounding communities. This role supports students across preschool, elementary, and middle school levels within several school locations, including community preschools, Magnolia Elementary, Prospect Mill Elementary, and Aberdeen Middle School.Key Responsibilities:Deliver speech-language therapy services to preschool students at community locations and to elementary (PreK-5) and secondary (grades 6-8) students.Provide supervision and collaborate with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support student services.Maintain caseload management for assigned schools, balancing service delivery across different age groups.Ensure compliance with all licensure and credentialing requirements, including district background checks and employment history reviews.Desired Experience and Qualifications:Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) is required.Experience working with diverse student populations in educational settings.Ability to manage both itinerant and site-based caseloads effectively.Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with educational teams and families.Familiarity with Maryland's specific credentialing requirements and House Bill 486 background check procedures.Position Details:Contract role with several schedules available: • Two full-time positions (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday). • One part-time position (30 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, with potential for 5 days).Start dates beginning January 9, 2026, through different coverage windows extending into the summer ESY session in July 2026.On-site work is required at assigned school facilities.This position offers opportunities for hands-on speech therapy support to diverse learners within a structured educational environment.
