Radiologic Technologist (Mobile X-Ray)
Alpha One Imaging is seeking a skilled and motivated Radiologic Technologist to join our growing team in the Lafayette and surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for technologists who want to transition out of the traditional hospital or clinic setting and enjoy working independently while providing high-quality mobile diagnostic imaging.
Our ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and values patient care, teamwork, and flexibility. You’ll work directly with physicians, nursing homes, home health agencies, and hospice providers across Lafayette, Broussard, Youngsville, New Iberia, and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality mobile X-ray exams in nursing homes, rehabilitation hospitals, home health, and hospice environments.
Operate and maintain company-provided imaging equipment and vehicle.
Ensure compliance with Alpha One Imaging’s safety, quality, and clinical standards, as well as state and federal regulations.
Accurately upload images and documentation for radiologist interpretation.
Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and internal staff.
Demonstrate strong time management and independent decision-making skills while on the road.
Schedule Options
Full-time, Part-time, or PRN opportunities available.
Flexible scheduling: choose from 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts.
Average 30–40+ hours per week for full-time; flexible part-time options include weekends, short shifts, or 1–2 days per week.
Technologists begin and end their workday from home and may return home between exams when not on assignment.

Qualifications
Current ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist).
Active Louisiana Radiologic Technologist license.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Mobile or portable X-ray experience preferred but not required – training provided.
