Staff Accountant

Staff AccountantEntertainment and Production Company | Clayton, MOSTLRecruit's client is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountantwill also assist the Controller in multiple areas, such as assisting in the month-endclosing process, posting of accruals, managing the accounts payable process,processing credit card transactions, and reconciling bank transactions. This role iscrucial in ensuring that all financial transactions are processed accurately andtimely and financial records are updated appropriately for Management. The StaffAccountant will also assist the Controller with process improvement anddocumentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding ofaccounting principles, experience with accounting ERP software, and the ability towork collaboratively.Key Responsibilities:Support month-end close, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliationsProcess invoices, expense reports, reimbursements, and credit card batchesReconcile bank deposits and resolve discrepancies with credit card processorsEnter purchase orders and ensure compliance with contract termsMaintain AP aging reports and assist with monthly accrualsCollaborate with the contract management team and provide general support to the Controller and CFOQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting2+ years of accounting experienceStrong understanding of AP/AR, accruals, and general ledgerExperience with Sage/Intacct preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Excel requiredStrong attention to detail, organization, and communication skillsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience100% employer-paid health insurance401(k), dental, vision, and PTO
