Our team partners with clients across a wide range of industries to deliver meaningful results.Primary PurposeBGM is seeking a relationship-focused Service Advisor to manage client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and support the financial planning process.This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives on building strong client connections, providing strategic financial guidance, and contributing to a collaborative advisory team. The Service Advisor will primarily manage ongoing client relationships while supporting more complex client needs alongside senior advisors.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Manage and retain ongoing client relationships through proactive communication and financial planningConduct in-depth financial planning and analysis, including retirement, investment, tax, and estate planningPrepare for and lead client meetings, ensuring strategies are effectively implementedServe as the primary point of contact for client service requests and inquiriesManage client portfolios, including asset allocation and rebalancingIdentify opportunities to expand client relationships and capture additional share of walletMaintain a high client retention rate (~95%)Ensure all client interactions and recommendations comply with regulatory standardsCollaborate with advisors, paraplanners, and other team members to deliver comprehensive client solutionsParticipate in business development activities and generate client referralsStay current on market trends, financial strategies, and regulatory changesRequired Qualifications and Skills:Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience in a financial planning or wealth management firmCertified Financial Planner (CFP) designation requiredStrong understanding of financial planning concepts, investment products, and compliance requirementsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearlyAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a teamStrong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesHigh level of professionalism, ethics, and client service orientationExperience with Schwab, Salesforce, MoneyGuidePro, Tamarac, or Holistiplan is a plusWhat You'll Love About UsMake an Impact.
