You must be committed to Making a Difference.Industrial Sandblaster/ Painter Responsibilities:Apply coatings through conventional, airless, and plural spray systemsApply paint with a brush and rollOperate various types of equipment such as blast pots and spray gunsKnowledge of various painting methods and applicationsSpray with consistent millageKnowledge of various blastsPrepare surfacesMix paints to desired colors and consistenciesUnderstanding or reading of drawings and/or blueprintsSafe operation of construction tools and equipmentGrinding, sanding, and polishingPainting, caulking, and sealingBenefits Company subsidized health insurance, 401(k) plan with employer match, paid vacation, paid holidays, and opportunities for continuing education, such as NCCER certifications and our in-house Welding Training Program.Industrial Sandblaster/ Painter Skills:Ability to apply all types of coatings using various application methodsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawingsAbility to read coating thickness gages, surface profile gages, dew point meters, soluble salt testers, hardness or ultrasonic thickness gages and complete the associated reportsAbility to operate Heavy EquipmentExperience RequirementsExperience of progressive responsibility in painting and/or coatings.Understand the difference between SP5 and SP6 for blasting purposesExperience and ability with conventional spray systems, airless spray systems, and plural spray systems.Experience and ability applying paint with brush and rollExperience with epoxy, polyurethane, and high-solids coatings is preferredProficient in the application and use of plural spray systems is preferredTraining and ability to operate a man lift, work at heights, and swing stage trainingKnowledge of utilizing a forklift for loading/unloading trucksOther duties as assignedPrevious structural welding experience in an industrial setting is preferredOSHA Approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided)Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screenSo, do you think you have what it takes to join The Systems Family?
