Job DetailsThe Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, logistics coordination, inventory control, safety compliance, and team supervision. This role ensures efficient handling, storage, and distribution of material while maintaining high safety, quality, and customer service standards.Primary ResponsibilitiesCoordinate logistics and transportation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.Oversee receiving, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments.Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, PPE usage, and proper material handling procedures.Manage inventory accuracy, including load counts, tracking, labeling, and system updates.Supervise order fulfillment, loading, and securing products for transport.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.Monitor and report breakage, damages, and operational issues.Prepare customer service areas and restrict access to hazardous zones.Oversee use, inspection, and maintenance of warehouse equipment and tools.Conduct daily oversight of staff productivity and task assignments.Provide training on safety, equipment operation, and warehouse procedures.Conduct weekly safety meetings and ensure regulatory compliance.Order and manage supplies including propane tanks, dumpsters, tools, and case trucks.Prepare reports related to inventory, damages, deliveries, and warehouse performance.Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce waste.Daily DutiesMaintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.Ensure all cases are clearly labeled as open or closed.Track breakage and ensure accurate reporting.Count loose lites in opened cases for current and next-day deliveries.Verify availability and condition of safety equipment.Secure tools and restrict customer access to work areas.Weekly DutiesConduct safety meetings with warehouse staff.Perform routine equipment and facility inspections.Maintain inventory of tools and supplies.Place supply orders as needed.Report major maintenance or operational issues.Qualifications & SkillsExperience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supervision.Knowledge of safety standards and proper material handling.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to manage and train a team effectively.Familiarity with warehouse management and routing systems preferred.Ability to lift, move, and oversee handling of heavy and fragile materials.CDL Class A, B, C - Preferred
