JOB TITLE: Human Resources Coordinator
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE: Reports to the Human Resources Manager - Home Office

LOCATION: In-office at the Lynnwood Home Office
POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the administration of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for Zumiez. This role provides administrative support to the Human Resource function as needed, including record-keeping, and file maintenance.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Client Support: Provide guidance to Retail & Home Office teams across North America to support their onboarding of new employees.
* Customer Support: Support employees, past employees & applicants' questions by troubleshooting and resolving issues over phone and email.
* Systems Administration: Administration of HRIS and ATS, including but not limited to full systems maintenance, key initiatives projects, troubleshooting, creating and maintaining training material & conducting end-user training.
* Documentation: Track I-9s completion and re-verification. Supports compliance with E-verify program, ensuring the TNC process is completed promptly. Supports clients with upload of documentation while maintaining confidential and sensitive information.
* Event Support: Support National and Home Office events; including attending training, participating in planning committees and assisting with ad hoc projects.
* Training Program Administration: Administration of Anti-Harassment program; including enrollment and reporting.
* Background Checks & MVR Reporting: Conducts pre-employment background checks, completes Adverse Action process as appropriate within timeline guidelines and assists applicants with onboarding support.
* System Metrics: Create and audit metrics related to systems performance and utilization while proactively working to improve systems and processes.
* Unemployment Claims: Processes unemployment claims through 3rd party vendor.
* Reporting: Creates and runs reports as needed to support HR functions and business needs.
* Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with coworkers, applicants and outside vendor contacts.
* Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task and work independently.
* Excellent analytical and communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent time management, ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
* Experience in HRIS platforms, specifically UKG, a plus.
EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:
* 1+ years of demonstrated ability in HR administration, office administration or customer service.
