Cloud Engineer

Job Summary:We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in securing cloud environments across AWS/Azure platforms. The ideal candidate will have practical exposure to implementing security best practices, managing identity and access controls, and monitoring cloud infrastructure for threats. This role requires close collaboration with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure secure and scalable deployments in a hybrid work environment.Key Responsibilities:Implement and manage security controls in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Monitor cloud environments for security threats and vulnerabilitiesConfigure IAM roles, policies, and access controlsConduct security assessments, audits, and risk analysisIntegrate security tools into CI/CD pipelinesRespond to incidents and perform root cause analysisEnsure compliance with industry standards (ISO, SOC2, etc.)Required Skills:Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure preferred)Experience with IAM, VPC, firewalls, and encryptionFamiliarity with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners)Understanding of networking concepts and protocolsHands-on experience with scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)Preferred Qualifications:Experience with DevSecOps practicesCertifications like AWS Security Specialty / CEH / CISSPKnowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
