This is a stable, growth-oriented environment with a strong reputation for quality, safety, and employee investment.This role is ideal for a hands-on quality professional with a strong welding background who takes pride in precision, accuracy, and maintaining high inspection standards.Why This OpportunityEstablished, financially stable company with consistent workflowStrong leadership and employee-focused cultureExcellent benefits package including no-cost medical services, company-paid dental & visionLong-term career growth and internal advancement opportunitiesClean, safety-driven manufacturing environmentKey ResponsibilitiesPerform dimensional and layout inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM)Inspect welds and fabricated components to ensure compliance with codes, specifications, and quality standardsConduct NDE inspections (VT, PT, MT, UT) as certifiedInterpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings with a high level of accuracyIdentify defects, non-conformances, and deviations in welding and fabricationDocument inspection results and maintain detailed quality recordsSupport root cause analysis and corrective actionsCollaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to drive continuous improvementProvide guidance to operators on weld quality and visual acceptance standardsRequired QualificationsCurrent and VALID Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification REQUIREDStrong, recent hands-on experience inspecting welds in a manufacturing or fabrication environmentMinimum 2+ years in a quality inspection roleProficient with precision measuring instrumentsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbolsSolid math skills (geometry, measurements, tolerances)Comfortable working on the shop floor in a hands-on rolePreferredLevel II NDE certifications (VT, PT, MT, UT)Experience with structural steel or heavy fabricationCMM experience (operation/programming)Who This Role Is ForA detail-driven CWI who is confident in their welding knowledge, thrives in a production environment, and wants to be part of a company where quality truly matters.
