Senior Project Manager - Business & Technology Integration
DescriptionThis role involves driving business and technology projects to successful completion while ensuring adherence to established budgets, business plans, processes, procedures, and requirements. The position requires the Project Manager to be onsite 3 days per week and to develop and maintain project schedules, manage resources, procure vendor products and implementation services, and submit funding requests as needed.The Project Manager will adhere to project management governance for multiple current and future projects. Reporting on delivery efforts to the Project Sponsors and the PMO Director is an essential aspect of this role. You will be part of a PMO team responsible for all aspects of IT project governance, assessment, management, and control.ResponsibilitiesGather and define business requirements and build project plans.Identify resource needs while maintaining transparent communication across all stakeholder levels.Adapt to continually changing priorities provided by leadership in response to department and legislative directions.RequirementsDirect management experience of system integration projects.Proven capability in managing stakeholder expectations and priorities.Familiarity with a project governance structure including methodology, required templates, and reporting standards.Extensive experience in planning, managing, and tracking multiple high-impact projects.Strong skills in process development and gap analysis with the ability to learn and formalize procedures.Excellent project management abilities, capable of multitasking in a cross-functional environment while managing changing priorities.Demonstrated capability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and activities to meet established deadlines.This position offers a unique opportunity to facilitate impactful projects while enhancing your project management skills in a dynamic environment.Employment Type: Contractor
