We have an immediate opening for an entry-level Environmental Engineer/Scientist in our Folsom, California office. Come join our team!Responsibilities:Provide stormwater compliance support for industrial facilities to comply with regulatory requirementsPerform fieldwork to evaluate industrial activities and pollutants, stormwater drainage, and stormwater best management practicesConduct hydrologic and hydraulic evaluationsConduct feasibility evaluations and support the development and design of innovative stormwater treatment measuresPerform fieldwork to support environmental investigation, evaluation, and remediation projects, including the collection of groundwater, soil, soil vapor, stormwater, and surface water samplesAssist Project Technical Leaders in the preparation of high-quality technical presentations, reports, letters, plans, and proposalsCoordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and analytical laboratories and independently perform subcontractor oversightSupport the design of assessment programs and remedial options for site cleanup, as well as environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and permitting activitiesAssist in the management, analysis, and interpretation of environmental data using statistical and data visualization toolsIndependently perform research tasks with input from technical expertsContribute to a team atmosphere through collaboration with technical experts, project managers, colleagues, and subcontractors Job Perks:Competitive salary and extensive benefits packageQuarterly and year-end bonusesFlexible work environment with potential for part-time remote workExcellent career growth including on-the-job training program, mentorship, and professional developmentParticipation in conferences, technical seminars and papers, and research and designTeamwork atmosphere Qualifications/Requirements:A Bachelor's degree or higher in the Geosciences, Civil/Environmental Engineering, or related scientific field is required. Master's degree a plus.0 to 4 years of relevant work experienceEngineer in Training (EIT) certification a plusExcellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skillsCuriosity, ability to learn, flexibility, and willingness to work hardAbility to manage multiple tasks and work independently and as part of a teamExperience with data management, review, assessment, and statistical analysis40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification a plusValid driver's license and clear driving record, passage of drug and background check, and ability for limited travel
