Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mission-critical data center construction projects. This role is responsible for managing all phases of construction-from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout-while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead full lifecycle management of data center construction projects (ground-up and/or retrofit)Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost controlsOversee preconstruction activities including estimating, buyout, and subcontractor procurementCoordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and executionManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationEnsure compliance with all safety standards, including OSHA regulations and company policiesMonitor project progress and proactively mitigate risks and delaysLead regular project meetings, reporting on schedule, budget, and key milestonesOversee commissioning processes, including MEP systems (electrical, mechanical, cooling infrastructure)Ensure quality control and adherence to contract documents and specificationsManage client relationships and provide consistent communication throughout project lifecycleRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)5-10+ years of construction project management experience, with data center or mission-critical project experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of MEP systems, especially electrical infrastructure (UPS, generators, switchgear)Proven experience managing large-scale, complex construction projects ($10M-$200M+)Proficiency with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or MS ProjectStrong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost controlOSHA 30 certification preferredAbility to travel as requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience with hyperscale data center projects (AWS, Google, Microsoft environments)Familiarity with commissioning processes and Tier standards (Uptime Institute)LEED accreditation or sustainability experienceExperience working with General Contractors or Owner's Rep firmsKey Skills & CompetenciesLeadership and team managementStrong communication and stakeholder coordinationProblem-solving and decision-makingTime management and organizational skillsAbility to perform in fast-paced, high-stakes environmentsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary + bonus structureHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchVehicle allowance or company vehicle (if applicable)Per diem (for traveling roles)PTO and paid holidays
