Assists in overseeing the Language Assistance Program, including interpretation and translation device management, staff education and ensuring patients and families with varying preferred languages are satisfied with the care and communication being provided. Essential Job Requirements:# ##### 1.## Education:#A#Bachelor#s degree preferred.#A successful completion of a medical interpreter training program required. ##### 2.## Experience:#Three years# work experience as an American Sign Language Interpreter. ##### 3.## Training/Certification:#Certified Medical Interpreter required.# Trilingual#English and Spanish ASL preferred. ##### 4.## Licensure: N/A ##### 5.## Other:#Excellent written and verbal communication skills.# Must present professionally and demonstrate positive customer service to patients.# Must be certified and attended an ASL Interpreter Medical Training Program.
