Company Description Since 1980, Fort Bend Women’s Center has been a leading resource for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. As the only dedicated emergency shelter and crisis hotline in Fort Bend County, we provide critical crisis intervention services alongside comprehensive non-residential support, including counseling, case management, and advocacy. Our continuum of care also includes short- and long-term housing programs designed to help survivors achieve safety and stability. Through innovative, trauma-informed approaches—such as neurofeedback training and behavioral therapy—we address complex mental health challenges, including PTSD and traumatic brain injury. Our Approach Fort Bend Women’s Center delivers forward-thinking, evidence-based programming that: Centers on brain health and trauma recovery Promotes hope, resilience, and social connection through positive reinforcement Reduces the long-term impact of trauma and abuse Encourages self-determination and accountability Expands access through mobile service delivery Uses data-driven insights to guide outcomes and improvements Integrates both traditional and emerging best practices Role and Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for the Client Services Department, setting vision and ensuring annual service goals are achieved Lead, train, and support staff in delivering services aligned with best practices and agency standards Oversee multidisciplinary teams, including Youth and Family Services, Life Skills, and Mental Wellness programs Build and strengthen community partnerships in collaboration with the Volunteer and Development teams Develop and implement annual program goals and strategies Address and resolve client and programmatic challenges while mentoring staff in problem-solving and service planning Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous program improvement Ensure accurate and timely documentation, reporting, and compliance Support grant writing and reporting efforts Represent the organization in community events and professional networks Lead departmental meetings and participate in ongoing staff development Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Master’s degree in a social services-related field required Active independent licensure (LPC, LPC-S, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) Minimum of 5 years of experience working with trauma-affected populations Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams Experience in domestic violence and/or sexual assault services strongly preferred Knowledge of Texas Childcare Licensing preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong written and verbal communication skills Valid Texas driver’s license and required auto insurance Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Required Skills and Competencies Strong leadership, communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities Ability to empower staff and clients while fostering a collaborative environment Comfort with technology and adaptability to new systems Sound judgment and professional boundaries when working with vulnerable populations Creative and innovative thinking in addressing challenges Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and follow-through Team-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening and motivational interviewing Commitment to trauma-informed, client-centered, and strengths-based practices Cultural competency and respect for client autonomy and confidentiality Ability to manage conflict effectively and maintain professionalism If you want, I can tighten this into a one-page job posting, make it more compelling for recruitment, or tailor it specifically for platforms like Indeed or LinkedIn.
