Cast Urethane Technician

Job DetailsDescriptionPROFILEThis role requires that you process RTV molds and inject them with polyurethane materials. Once cured, the parts are demolded and technicians perform primary and secondary operations. Due to quality standards, a high level of attention to detail is required, Cast Urethane is part art, part science, this role is suited to those who like to work with their hands and problem solve. This role is based in the Advanced Manufacturing Services team, reporting to the Cast Urethane Manager.Duties And ResponsibilitiesPour cast urethanes and silicone into molds to produce prototype models, end-use production parts, to high quality appearance models. Troubleshoot issues as required.Thorough understanding of all part finishing techniques and the ability to complete tasks with moderate supervision in a timely manner.Understand and appreciate process flow, timing, and materialsCommunicate project timelines and issues with the Casting ManagerMaintain a clean and safe environment as per protocolsSkills And RequirementsHS degree or GED requiredExcellent hand and eye coordination required to perform highly detailed work.Must be capable of establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with others in a team environment.Ability to work well with employees from diverse cultures.Willingness to attend company sponsored trainings and/or educational seminars.
