Packaging Designer – Beauty & Cosmetics

We’re seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented Packaging Designer with deep experience in the beauty, skincare, or cosmetics space. This role is responsible for concepting, designing, and executing packaging that elevates brand presence, enhances the consumer experience, and aligns with manufacturing and production requirements.PAY: $80-$90kLOCATION: Sherman Oaks (onsite Tues–Thurs)DURATION: Temp to HirePackaging design experience for beauty, skincare or makeup is REQUIRED.What You’ll DoConcept and design packaging for beauty, skincare, and fragrance products, including primary and secondary packaging as well as gift sets and PR sets.Translate brand strategy and marketing objectives into compelling visual and structural packaging solutionsDevelop mood boards, sketches, mockups, and production-ready filesEnsure packaging designs align with brand guidelines and visual identityCollaborate with packaging engineers, suppliers, printers, product development, and sourcing teamsReview samples and prototypes, ensuring accuracy and quality through all stages of productionManage multiple projects from concept through final production, meeting tight deadlines and communicating progress across teamsWhat We’re Looking ForProven packaging design experience within beauty, skincare, cosmetics, or fragranceStrong understanding of packaging materials, print processes, and production workflowsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with hands-on experience creating production-ready packaging filesPlease submit your resume for consideration.You can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting workgrades.com/home/candidate.
