Our dedication to quality, exceptional customer service, and unequivocal results allow us to provide the best outcomes to our clients.Job SummaryAs the Senior Sous Chef, you will support the successful culinary operation of the food & nutrition department at a large hospital. This role is responsible for overseeing retail, patient dining services, catering, and overall culinary operations while helping lead a team of approximately 40 associates. The hospital is an acute care, Level II trauma hospital with 541 beds and an average daily census of about 350 patients. The account includes bedside patient meal ordering, a 24-hour retail cafeteria, and catering services.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily culinary operations across patient services, retail dining, and cateringOversee purchasing, ordering, receiving, and inventory management along with related administrative functionsSupport scheduling, training, and development of culinary associatesHelp manage cost controls and ensure responsible budget executionAssist with developing, planning, and executing menus, including preparation and presentationLead and execute catering eventsSupervise food production and ensure quality, consistency, and food safety standardsSupport rollout of new culinary programs in partnership with company marketing and culinary teamsMaintain compliance with sanitation, safety, and regulatory standardsPreferred Qualifications:Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or 2+ years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experienceExperience in purchasing, ordering, and inventory management requiredHealthcare or hospital culinary experience strongly preferredExperience in high-volume, complex foodservice environments and cateringKnowledge of institutional and batch cooking practicesStrong understanding of food trends, quality standards, sanitation, and cost controlsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Email, Internet)Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsWillingness to participate in patient/client satisfaction initiativesServSafe certificationApply to TouchPoint today!TouchPoint is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
