Java Developer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Java Developer to join their team. As a Java Developer, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting the Financial Crimes technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Java Developer Location: Jersey City, NJ What's the Job? Develop complex requirements, enhance, modify, and maintain applications within the Financial Crimes technology domain. Design, code, test, debug, and document programs while supporting ongoing maintenance activities. Collaborate closely with business partners to define system application requirements and deliver innovative solutions. Participate in the full development lifecycle, including story refinement, requirement analysis, and proof of concept implementation. Set up and automate continuous integration and delivery pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment and updates. What's Needed? Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Java, J2EE, Spring framework, Hibernate, MVC, and related technologies. Proficiency with AngularJS, Web services, Maven, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and scheduling tools like Autosys. Strong background in designing, developing, and supporting web-based applications with large user bases and complex data sets. Experience with SQL, stored procedures, data virtualization, and performance tuning. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with remote teams and stakeholders.
