Job Title: Senior MATLAB DeveloperJob SummaryThe Component Controls Software Development Engineer is responsible for the design, development, integration, and validation of AUTOSAR-based component-level control software for Air Handling, Combustion Controls, and Fuel Systems. The role includes system technical profile updates, component-level software requirements writing, and ensuring alignment between system requirements, component behavior, and production hardware. The position emphasizes model-based development using MATLAB/Simulink, strong MIL and SIL verification, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) validation, aligned with Cummins CSAR architecture.Key Responsibilities1. Maintain And Enhance Existing Features In Matlab, Troubleshoot Bugs, And Resolve Ad-Hoc Requests To Ensure Software Reliability And Performance According To Client And Business Specifications.2. Provide Client Support By Analyzing Data, Resolving Tickets, And Performing Daily Support Activities, While Effectively Monitoring And Tracking Client Requirements To Ensure Timely Delivery Of Assigned Tasks.3. Create And Maintain Documentation Related To Enhancements And Compliance With Cmmi Standards, Ensuring That All Client Requirements Are Thoroughly Documented And Communicated.4. Provide Technical Guidance And Mentorship To Junior Developers In Matlab Development Practices And Principles, Fostering A Collaborative And Productive Team Environment.5.
