Service Desk Analyst
Level 1 Service Desk ConsultantDescriptionThis is a great opportunity for someone looking to build or continue their IT support career in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. As a Service Desk Consultant, you'll be the first point of contact for associates needing technical help, providing support via phone, remote tools, and chat while delivering a high level of customer service. This is a first shift Hybrid role. After training you will spend 3 days on site. You'll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly, where strong documentation, attention to detail, and following established processes really matter. You'll work closely with infrastructure, application, and security teams while gaining hands-on experience across a variety of technologies.What You'll Be DoingProvide Level 1 (and some Level 2) technical support for hardware, software, and enterprise systems via phone, email, chat, and self-service toolsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to:Windows desktop and laptop environmentsMicrosoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)VPN and secure remote accessPassword resets and identity/access managementLog, categorize, and prioritize incidents and service requests in a ticketing system (ServiceNow or similar)Follow ITSM best practices for:Incident managementService requestsUser access provisioning and de-provisioningEnsure all work aligns with audit, security, and compliance standards common in insurance organizationsEscalate more complex issues to the appropriate IT teams with clear, accurate documentationTop Skills Help Desk Service Desk Troubleshooting Technical Support Customer Service Office 365 Active Directory ServiceNow Windows 10 Printer Support Phone SupportAdditional Skills That Are a PlusVPN supportDNS fundamentalsExperience in process-driven or regulated environmentsWhat We're Looking For1-3 years of experience in:IT Service DeskHelp DeskTechnical Support or Service Center environmentsStrong customer service mindset with solid problem-solving skillsComfortable supporting Windows OS and common enterprise applicationsFamiliarity with ITSM processes (Incident, Request, Change)Ability to follow defined procedures while staying adaptable and solution-focusedExperience Level Entry to Mid-Level (strong Level 1 foundation with room to grow)Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of West Bend, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.80 - $20.80/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
