Director of Finance - Hotel (Virginia/DC Area)

We are seeking a Director of Finance to lead the financial operations of a hotel in the Virginia/DC area. This individual will play a critical role in driving strategic business objectives, partnering closely with the General Manager and ownership to ensure strong financial performance, operational efficiency, and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic financial leadership and direction for the propertyOversee all accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledgerEnsure accurate and timely ADP payroll processing and compliancePrepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheet reconciliationsLead profit and loss analysis, identifying trends and opportunities to improve performanceDevelop and manage annual budgets and forecasts in partnership with department leadersEnsure full compliance with tax reporting, audits, and regulatory requirementsMaintain strong internal controls and financial policiesPartner with operational leaders to drive cost controls and maximize profitabilityCommunicate financial performance clearly to senior leadership and ownershipQualifications:Strong leadership presence with excellent verbal and written communication skillsExtensive knowledge of hotel operations and financial systemsProven experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and analysisAbility to influence and collaborate across departmentsPrior experience in a luxury or full-service hotel environmentCompensation & Benefits:Strong, competitive performance-based bonus programMedical, Dental, and Vision benefits401(k) and retirement planRelocation assistance availableGenerous PTO, including vacation, holidays, and sick time
