Assistant Manager
Tudors Biscuit World Assistant Managers are responsible for performing a crew level job, such as cook or cashier, while also carrying out multiple leadership/management functions under the direction of the store manager. Assistant Managers work with the store manager to execute the administrative work of the store while making sure all employees balance product quality, speed and friendliness with pride in their work and respect for their teammates, managers and customers. Training is provided to ensure that all new Assistant Managers learn the correct processes and procedures to execute the responsibilities of the position so that both customers and fellow employees have a positive experience. Flexible scheduling available.ResponsibilitiesPreform line level position duties (cook or cashier) while providing leadership and direction for/to coworkersAssist the Store Manager in executing administrative duties such as sales reporting, supply ordering, employee scheduling, etc.Ensure customer satisfaction with the entirety of their experience (food quality, service quality, speed, cleanliness of the store, etc.)Meet company standards of safety and cleanlinessMaintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volumeSet a good example for coworkers with a positive attitudeFollow all Tudors Biscuit World operational policies and proceduresMaintain a clean and organized workspaceMaintain regular and punctual attendanceQualificationsEnjoys working early morning hoursMust ensure reliable transportation to workBe able to communicate with co-workers and managers effectivelyStand for long periods of timeReach and lift overhead up to 25 poundsWork in hot and cold temperatures for long periods of timeWork around, handle, operate, and control hot equipment and products in a safe mannerWork at a pace consistent with changing business volume and demandsSelf-motivated and eager to assume new/expanded responsibilitiesAbility to learn quicklyAbility to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when neededAbility to work as part of a teamRequired qualifications:18 years or olderPreferred qualifications:Legally authorized to work in the United States
