Service Truck /Shop Mechanic

Our organization is currently seeking a Service Mechanic for our facility. The ideal candidate will be a skilled professional with a commitment to safety, high-quality work and attention to detail. Minimum of 2 years of experience. Responsibilities: 1. Help perform maintenance and repairs such as oil change, repairing hydraulic leaks on heavy equipment, checks tires and brakes, replaces spark plugs and engages in other similar tasks on Heavy Equipment. 2. Cleans the shop and returns tools to the proper location. 3. Inspects tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order. 4. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: 1. Knowledge of vehicle repair. 2. Excellent mechanical skills. 3. Ability to follow instructions. 4. Ability to use power and hand tools. 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Ability to read service and repair manuals. 7. Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion. 8. CDL Required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: 10 hour shift 8 hour shift License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Willingness to travel: 50% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
