Apply today and join a team you can build a future with.What You’ll DoProvide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, identifying needs, and assisting with product selection.Mix, tint, and match paint colors to customer specifications using computer color-matching systems and manual adjustments.Process customer orders accurately, including entering orders into the system and completing sales transactions.Assist customers with product knowledge, recommendations, and project estimates (take-offs and quotes).Maintain paint department inventory, including stocking shelves, monitoring levels, and notifying management of shortages or discrepancies.Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe while following company procedures.Other duties as assigned by the manager to support the success of the team and business.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.Minimum of 2 years of experience in mixing, matching, and tinting paint colors required.Minimum of 1–3 years of retail sales or customer service experience preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must.Must be able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.Must be available to work every other Saturday (half-day) or as needed, based on business needs.Basic computer skills (order entry, inventory systems, and POS).Knowledge of building materials and paint products preferred.Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude.Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally.Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.Comfortable working in a retail/warehouse environment with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions.Must follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).BenefitsBenefits You Can Count On - At Doug Ashy, we take care of our people—plain and simple.
