Project Manager, Casework Internship
Summary
Support the Project Manager, Casework with the expectation of assisting with responsibilities in support of specific project management tasks and requirements. This position will learn the Project Manager, Casework role in detail to the point the Project Manager, Casework Intern can take over specific projects in their entirety. The role is a support role based on work load and project scope and will be assigned by either the Project Manager, Casework or the Manager of Project Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with ensuring all deliverables are met on assigned projects and understand and execute project requirements as provided by the Project Manager, Casework and/or Manager of Project Management.
Assist with estimates of casework projects by performing take‑offs of provided prints and/or shop drawings from the customer, sending RFQ’s to suppliers and populating estimating software with detailed information.
Review engineering submittal drawings and prepare specification sheets for customer approvals.
Review IFS product structures for accuracy and release jobs to the production floor.
Oversee the production of casework projects for accuracy and quality.
Assist the assembly team when needed.
Fill in on cross‑functional projects when needed, working with other teams to accomplish tasks.
Some travel may be required; accommodations will be covered by the company if needed.
Other duties may be assigned at any time.
Education and/or Experience
Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field.
1+ year of previous general work experience.
Other Qualifications

Ability to work independently or as a team member in a diverse group.
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
