Associate Engineer, IT

80% Travel Support BFS IT Field Operations team at various locations with Network infrastructure set up & design, infrastructure cabling, site standardization, User Support and set up. Involves frequent travel to BFS field locations for on-site support. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Works with senior team members on workflow around system upgrades. Deploys required patches for identified gaps. Performs routine operating system and hardware preventative maintenance based on hardware and operating system best practices. Supports selection and/ or deployment of tools and processes to support operations and administration of enterprise infrastructure. Understands and consults on system backup plan, documenting, and logging process. Tests disaster/system recovery and provides input to updates. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
