Batch Maker
Role Overview
Our production team is looking for a precise and reliable Batch Maker. We are searching for someone with a background in manufacturing—ideally involving chemical handling—who excels at calculating, weighing, and measuring components. You will play a key role in executing batch preparations based on specific formulas, keeping detailed production logs, and upholding our high quality benchmarks during every phase of the operation.
Key Duties
Combine and blend ingredients by strictly following designated recipes and formulas.
Verify, weigh, and measure raw components to ensure precise input for production.
Execute tasks by adhering to established manufacturing protocols and written batch documentation.
Help maintain operational integrity by completing all necessary production paperwork.
Identify and report any inconsistencies to help ensure consistent batch quality.
Support a safe and orderly workplace by following all established safety and housekeeping guidelines.
Collaborate with quality and production staff to facilitate smooth and efficient workflows.
Assist in moving materials and containers up to 50 lbs to support team productivity.
Keep your assigned workspace tidy and well-organized at all times.
Required Skills and Experience
At least one year of experience in a manufacturing setting, with a preference for chemical production backgrounds.
Proven ability to work with formulas, recipes, or technical batch instructions.
Proficiency in mathematics, specifically regarding the calculation and measurement of quantities.
Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to maintain precise documentation.
Capability to interpret and carry out both written and spoken directives.
Comfortable performing tasks within a high-speed manufacturing facility.
Physical capacity to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
Completion of a High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
