Other duties may be assigned based on business need. Perform custodial work according to the specified contracted methods of cleaning.Cleaning responsibilities include:Removal/disposal of trashCleaning of offices including dusting, vacuuming, and/or sweepingCleaning of restrooms including mopping, disinfecting, cleaning mirrors, partitions, toilets, and sinksStock paper and soap suppliesProperly dispose any hazardous waste materialPick up litter from outside foyer and grass areasMaintain supplies and equipment under established proceduresPerform other specified custodial tasks as requestedMinimum QualificationsNo minimum experience requiredMust be able to pass a background screening for access to the work areasMust pass a pre-employment drug testMust be authorized to work in the U.S.Supervisory QualificationsNonePreferred QualificationsPrior custodial work experience preferredIn addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesMust be able to work harmoniously in a team environment with a diverse workforceWork at a reasonable pace for the job duties assigned and physical ability Good communication skills (e.g., able to effectively respond to common inquiries or complaints)Able to follow basic instructions with or without a reasonable accommodationReasoning Ability: Able to identify issues or problems, evaluate and draw valid conclusions.Attentive to detail for quality performance.If required to drive, a current driver’s license and clean driving record required. This position does require the following; repetitive lifting, push/pull, carrying, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling and prolonged standing. Will involve lifting/moving up to 40 pounds. These requirements can be met with or without reasonable accommodations.Safety And Environmental RequirementsWork alone, with no supervision on select shiftsWorking conditions are predominantly outdoors at the work sites (e.g., custodial work).
