Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative handbag designs to life while upholding brand standards.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate prototypes, samples, and pre-production items, offering constructive feedback and necessary adjustments.Ensure handbags meet design intent, functionality, and durability standards, focusing on elements like strap length and closures.Engage directly with factories and vendors to address technical challenges and clarify construction details.Develop Bills of Materials (BOM) and manage tech pack uploads for effective vendor communication.SkillsProven experience in technical design, particularly in accessories or handbags.Strong ability to translate design concepts into detailed technical specifications.Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.Proficiency in relevant design software and tools.Preferred SkillsExperience working with global vendors and understanding of production processes.Knowledge of material properties and their impact on design and functionality.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.At Horizontal, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.
