Warehouse SpecialistIAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, is a recognized leader in Facilities Management and Operations in support of Defense, Intelligence, and National Security missions.Under a major Intelligence Community contract, IAP operates and maintains facilities, systems, and associated grounds across Virginia and Maryland. Services provided include comprehensive facility operations; project management for renovations, minor construction, and major equipment repairs; engineering, construction, and operations support; custodial and grounds maintenance services; environmental, safety, and occupational health support; food services; motorpool and logistics operations; and physical and technical security services.The Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.Essential Job Functions:Perform a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials, examine stored materials and reports deterioration and damage.Removes material from storage and prepares it for shipment.May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.Verify materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and obvious damages; route materials to prescribed storage locations; stores, stacks or palletizes material in accordance with prescribed storage methods.Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.Education & Experience:High School Diploma or equivalentSix to twelve months of job-related experience and/or training is required.Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicleSecurity Clearance: Active Top Secret SCI W/ CI Poly
