Job Description SummaryWe are currently searching for an experienced and highly analytical quality inspector to join our production department. As the quality inspector, you will uphold the safety regulations of our company and supervise the production process to guarantee that all our products meet quality expectations.The chosen candidate will perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, and recommend improvements to the production process. To excel in this role, applicants should demonstrate great attention to detail with excellent technical and math abilities.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in the corrective and preventative action program and its effectivenessAssure verification of process controlDocument inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.Provide Quality Management System trainingAssist in Supplier Discrepant Material issuesMaintain the Document Control SystemMaintain the calibration systemMaintain inspection recordsCollection of quality related documentationAssist in companys safety program documentation to ensure adherence to outlined OSHA requirements and national standardsAssist in internal training program documentation and development to ensure training adherence at all levels of the organizationTECHNICAL SKILLSUse of Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of high school diplomaExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 work environmentDemonstrated organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage many tasks/projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability in analytical thinkingAbility to present complex or difficult messages clearly and persuasivelyMATHEMATICAL SKILLSBasic mathematic skills required.REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsCERTIFCATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNone requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
