Job Description Auto Damage EstimatorPosition Summary:We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Auto Damage Estimator to join our collision repair team. This role is responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage, writing detailed repair estimates, and guiding customers and insurance partners through the repair process from start to finish.Key Responsibilities:Inspect vehicles and assess damage to determine repair needsPrepare accurate and thorough repair estimates using industry softwareCommunicate with insurance companies to obtain approvals and supplementsExplain repair processes, timelines, and costs to customersMonitor repair progress and update customers throughout the processIdentify additional damage and write supplements as neededCoordinate with technicians and parts department to ensure efficient workflowEnsure all repairs meet quality and safety standardsMaintain proper documentation and adhere to company proceduresQualifications:2+ years of experience as an auto damage estimator or in collision repairProficiency in estimating systems such as CCC ONE, Mitchell, or AudatexStrong understanding of vehicle repair processes and partsExperience working with insurance companies and DRP programs preferredValid driver's licenseSpanish speaking is a plus!Skills & Attributes:Strong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentStrong negotiation and problem-solving skillsTeam-oriented with a positive attitudeAbout Us:Collision Care Xpress knows that automotive repair isn't just about fixing cars.
