Work collaboratively with campus leadership to strengthen Tier 1 behavior supports and ensure effective implementation of Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions aligned with campus and district goals. Foster a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment by strengthening classroom behavior practices while ensuring students receive targeted support to develop self-regulation, responsibility, and positive social skills. This role is flexibly structured and may shift based on campus needs, with time divided between building teacher capacity and providing direct behavioral support and intervention services to students.DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Partner with teachers to strengthen Tier 1 classroom behavior systems and proactive management practices.Support implementation of district-developed behavior frameworks.Cultivate a positive instructional culture by guiding teachers in establishing clear expectations, routines, and behavior management.Lead and support lesson and classroom management planning with an emphasis on student engagement and behavior prevention strategies.Model effective behavior management strategies and co-teach to demonstrate high-impact practices.Provide non-evaluative, job-embedded coaching through observation, feedback, co-teaching, and collaborative planning that centers teacher voice and reflection.Facilitate MTSS behavior meetings focused on behavior data, classroom systems, and continuous improvement.Analyze behavior and discipline data to inform instructional and behavioral decisions, monitor trends, and guide interventions.Support teachers in differentiating behavioral supports to meet the diverse behavioral needs of all students.Provide targeted small-group and/or individual behavioral interventions for students identified through MTSS/RtI processes.Develop and implement behavior intervention plans aligned to campus expectations and student needs.Teach and reinforce self-regulation strategies and conflict resolution skills.Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of behavioral data.Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention strategies with core classroom expectations.Participate in MTSS/RtI meetings and contribute behavioral data to inform student placement and intervention adjustments.Communicate student progress with families and provide strategies to reinforce positive behavior at home.Develop and promote positive programs that recognize positive student behaviors.Maintain accurate records of intervention services and progress monitoring data.Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and behavioral support.Stay current with research and best practices in behavior management, trauma-informed practices, and social-emotional learning.Support school-wide initiatives that promote positive school culture and student well-being.* Maintain confidentiality.* Perform other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE:Minimum 3-5 years of successful classroom teaching or student support experienceDemonstrated expertise in classroom management and behavior interventionExperience supporting MTSS frameworks and behavior data analysisQUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certification:* Bachelor's degree in education* Valid state teaching certification or appropriate licensureSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Strong collaboration and communication skillsDeep understanding of behavior development, classroom management, and social-emotional learningAbility to build positive, collaborative relationships with staff and studentsSkill in facilitating adult learning and professional growthStrong organizational and data management skillsAbility to balance coaching and direct student support responsibilities effectivelyCONTACT INFORMATION:Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environment Factors:Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripheralsPosture: Prolonged standing/sitting, frequent kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twistingMotion: Repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding and use of mouse, frequent walkingLifting: Occasional lifting of instructional materialsEnvironment: Split schedule between classrooms(coaching/modeling) and designated intervention settings; occasional district travel and prolonged hoursMental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stressAPPLY TO:To apply for this position, click "login" above.
