Role Description This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a Controls Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, programming, and integrating automation control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and electrical components. Daily responsibilities include evaluating manufacturing requirements, developing control strategies, creating detailed system designs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless implementation at client facilities. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and customers will be essential to delivering high-quality automation solutions that meet project objectives. Qualifications Proficiency in PLC programming (RSLogix, Siemens), HMI development, and debugging control systemsExperience with AutoCAD and ePlan for hardware and electrical designStrong troubleshooting skills for resolving control systems and automation equipment issuesKnowledge of manufacturing processes, robotics, VFDs, and automation integrationExcellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and process improvementAbility to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts effectivelyBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field preferredRelevant experience in manufacturing and automation industries is a plus
