We value and reward hardworking, creative, and dedicated employees that desire to be part of a team committed to outstanding customer service.START YOUR CAREER NOW.The Drafter will be responsible for providing engineering support on mechanical equipment, perform tolerance studies and check design documentation, research and specify purchased component parts, and create component and system level test plans and test fixtures.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete basic drawing tasks as assigned by engineering groupAssist in calculations required to complete work assignmentsVerify and check drawings and parts lists for accuracyAssist in systems development as required, such as drafting standards, parts list systems, computer programmingMake parts lists and detail drawings when requiredSupport Engineers on design projectsConceptualize mechanical design solutionsPerform and/or supervise creation of design layoutsPerform and/or supervise creation of detail drawingsCreate engineering reports documenting design efforts and resultsPerform other work related task as required as assignedComply with all DNOW Company and HSE procedures and policiesAdhere to company safety policies and procedures to ensure the safe work environment of themselves, fellow employees, customers, vendors and other DistributionNOW partnersJOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors of Science or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of applicable 2D and 3D engineering softwareMinimum 1+ year of mechanical engineer experience E.I.T. Engineer APEGA CertifiedProduct line knowledgeInterpersonal and leadership skills. Competent in, with the ability to utilize, AutoCAD, Solid Works, Microsoft Excel.
