OverviewPerform the task required to maintain and repair the mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components of various types of equipment while working in field conditions.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot equipment problems to determine the type of maintenance or repairs, which are necessary and report these to the Equipment Manager for approval prior to taking action.Perform the preventative maintenance tasks per the manufacturer recommendations on the assigned equipment as approved by the EquipmentPerform the require equipment maintenance and repairs as assigned by the EquipmentMaintain quality standards by conforming to all manufacturer specifications for maintenance and repairs.Conduct a thorough inspection of each piece of equipment being repaired and report any potential or additional problems to the EquipmentComplete assigned tasks in a reasonable and efficientReportany probable case of operator negligence or abuse to the EquipmentProvide a report of all repairs and maintenance actions,including parts and time to complete, on each piece of equipment worked on, to the EquipmentProvide a report of equi'pment time as charge to each job site while performing maintenance or repairs onProvide own hand tools as required to efficiently an defectively perform assigned tasks in a timely manner.Provide own special weather clothing required to efficiently and effectively perform assigned tasks in severe weather conditions.Observe all shop safety practices. Report all injuries and occupationally related illnesses immediately to the Equipment Manager.Maintain your assigned vehicle in a clean and orderly fashion.
