Construction Superintendent

Our culture is built on trust, high standards, and a shared goal: delivering projects our clients are proud of and communities benefit from.About the Job-As a Superintendent, you will lead the day-to-day operations on the jobsite, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll serve as the on-site leader, coordinating teams, solving problems, and driving progress from groundbreaking to completion.What You Will Do-Lead and supervise all phases of construction from start to finishCoordinate and manage subcontractors, schedules, and daily site activitiesDrive project timelines and maintain short-term and long-term schedulesChampion and enforce a strong safety culture on every jobsiteCollaborate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and owners to ensure alignment and resolve issuesMaintain accurate daily reports, progress photos, and documentation in ProcoreIdentify, document, and track project deficiencies through completionEnsure all work meets contract documents and quality control standards (3-phase QC process)Manage material procurement, delivery, and on-site logisticsLead weekly subcontractor meetings and participate in owner/consultant meetingsProactively communicate RFIs, changes, and potential risksSupport and mentor junior Superintendents as neededWhat You Bring To The Table-5+ years of commercial construction experience (required)Experience in K-12, higher education, and/or healthcare projects (preferred)Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage teams and drive accountabilityWorking knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and safety standardsProficiency with construction management software (Procore experience preferred)OSHA 30 certification (preferred)Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field (preferred)Experience with Job Order Contracting (a plus)Why Join Jamail & Smith?Be part of a growing Dallas presence with strong company backingOpportunity to make a visible impact in a new regionWork with a respected, high-performing construction teamOngoing training and professional developmentCompetitive benefits package including: Vision, Dental, Medical Insurance, 401K Matching & 3 weeks of PTO per year.
