Servers are responsible for positive customer interactions while serving in a friendly and efficient manner. Thoroughly knowledgeable in all aspects of BP's menu and prices and can make recommendations.Duties & ResponsibilitiesGreet incoming customers immediately whenever possibleHas thorough knowledge of food and beverage menu and make suggestions to customersTake orders and serve food and/or beverage to customersCashiering duties including preparing checks and processing payment through POS systemEnsuring cleanliness in dining area including but not limited to removing dishes from tables and taking them to the kitchen for cleaning, refilling sauces, and cleaning sauce containers as neededSet up tables in preparation for the next customerWill also be responsible for general housekeeping duties of the restroomsStock service areas with supplies when neededMaintain personal health and sanitation standardsMust be knowledgeable of all safety codes per BP's guidelinesEnsure compliance with BP's code of ethics, integrity and conductMinimum Qualifications1 year of food retail experience in a fast paced environment, specifically as a serverFriendly attitude with excellent customer service skillsAble to multitask and work in a team environmentMust be able to work flexible schedulesHigh School diploma preferredAll candidates are subject to a background check and employment verification processPhysical DemandsAbility to continuously stand or walkAbility to bend and lift frequentlyAbility to lift up to 10lbs frequently and 50lbs occasionallyAbility to squat occasionallyWork EnvironmentWork will be conducted in a kitchen and restaurant environmentMay encounter temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 425 degrees around equipmentMay occasionally walk on slippery surfacesNoise level in the work environment is frequently loudBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee discountFlexible scheduleHealth insurance*Life insurancePaid sick timePaid time off* full-time employee onlyPI245866510
