Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesFollow established assembly procedures to ensure quality production.Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to assemble components.Use hand and small power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills, to assemble components.Assemble components, fixtures, and accessories according to established specifications and instructions.Perform final assembly of components, fixtures, and accessories.Use various measuring and testing devices, such as multimeters and megohmmeter, to ensure quality and accuracy of assemblies.Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to assembly, such as fitting and alignment problems.Follow safety procedures and guidelines in the assembly process.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Cross-train to support other product lines as needed.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: NoneEducation and Experience RequirementsHS diploma or equivalentGeneral assembly experience desiredPreferred Skills and AbilitiesOrganizational skillsTechnical Competencies: ability to read and understand blueprintsTroubleshooting: ability to resolve basic assembly issuesWorking Conditions and Physical DemandsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
