Summary: Responsible for maintaining exceptional guest studio experience by providing motivation and/or exercise technique progressions/regressions as needed. 40 minute classes start every 10 minutes as members work through 4 Total stations, each station comprised of 3 exercises that are performed in circuit for three rounds. Members spend 10 minutes in each station before moving on to the next station.
Our coaches are to approach each shift as the high-energy, personable presence on the studio floor, constantly navigating through each station to ensure appropriate exercise technique while motivating each station as a whole and individually. This position requires the candidate to have a solid understanding of fitness and operational excellence standards. This role directly reports to the Studio Team Lead.
In addition to responsibilities on the studio floor, coaches are responsible for helping to grow the brand in the form of member sales. Commission is earned per sale and training is provided. Additional ancillary responsibilities include laundry maintenance during the shift and pre/post shift cleaning procedures to ensure that the studio is set for the next shift.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
Upholding safety on studio floor during every shift.
Daily comprehension of studio workouts.
Offering postural modifications to members when needed to support existing injuries, safety and maximizing results.
High energy floor presence at all times.
Hands on motivation & encouragement to class attendees pushing them to exceed their fitness goals.
Sales driven studio presentation to first timers.
Member retention through enthusiastic delivery of an impeccable guest experience
Ensure first time attendees are set up for success through proper class orientation and trainer coaching.
Floor management, upholding time keeping & station moves.
Responsible for ensuring that the facility is clean, maintained and operationally sound always.
Daily workout set up and tear down.
Attend monthly studio meetings.
OPERATIONAL DUTIES:
- Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service always.
- Cross training in customer service, sales, and fitness instruction.
- Promote special events for the studio on a monthly basis.
