Senior Analyst, Executive Underwriting Priorities

Job Description: Provide analytical and operational support to Caremark Underwriting leadershipResearching, validating, and synthesizing information needed to resolve time-sensitive questionsInvestigate drivers of change in pricing and forecasting outputsIdentify root causes of anomaliesCoordinate across internal stakeholders to obtain clarifications, data sources, and supporting documentationPerform diagnostic reviews to explain changes in results across pricing and forecasting tools/modelsPartner with stakeholders across the underwriting ecosystem to obtain answersBuild and maintain side analyses to validate assumptionsWork with structured datasets and support extraction/validation of inputs and outputs using relational data concepts and SQLMaintain organized notes, assumptions, and reference materialsPrepare meeting briefs, capture action items, and represent leadership in lower-priority meetingsRequirements: 2+ years of relevant professional experience in analytics, finance, underwriting, actuarial, forecasting, or a related quantitative discipline.Experience with Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and structured modeling (e.g., INDEX/MATCH or XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables, error checking, reconciliation techniques).Familiarity with relational databases and SQL concepts for data extraction, validation, and analysis.Experience in PBM, healthcare, health plan, or underwriting/pricing environments preferred.Demonstrated ability to investigate ambiguous problems, ask strong clarifying questions, and drive issues to resolution through structured analysis and stakeholder follow-up.Benefits: medical, dental, and vision coveragepaid time offretirement savings optionswellness programsother resources, based on eligibility
