We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering excellent customer service and professionalism.Position OverviewThe Transition Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the seamless onboarding and offboarding of properties within our portfolio. This position is responsible for coordinating all operational, administrative, and financial aspects of transitions while maintaining continuity of service for clients, residents, and internal teams.ResponsibilitiesManage the full transition process for properties, including both onboarding and offboardingServe as the primary liaison between internal teams, property owners, vendors, and residentsDevelop and manage transition timelines, checklists, and deliverables to ensure deadlines are metCoordinate the transfer, setup, or closure of utilities, vendor contracts, service agreements, and access credentialsCollect, review, organize, and archive all property documentation, including financials, contracts, and governing documentsEnsure accurate data entry and updates within property management systemsFacilitate communication across departments (accounting, maintenance, compliance, and administration) to ensure alignmentReconcile accounts and support accurate financial reporting during transitionsIdentify and resolve issues or risks that may arise, escalating when necessaryConduct post-transition reviews and recommend process improvementsEnsure compliance with company policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirementsQualificationsEducation: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Business Administration, or related field preferredExperience: Previous property management experience requiredSkills:Strong multitasking skills with exceptional organization and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesStrong project management and problem-solving skillsProficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe, and cloud-based file systemsCompensation & ScheduleHourly Rate: $19.00 – $24.00 per hourSchedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)Location: Sunrise, FLBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance (after 60 days)40 hours of sick PTO after the 90-day probation period40 hours of vacation PTO after one year7 paid federal holidays
