This hybrid role focuses on creditor-side litigation, collections, and disputes within the oil and gas sector, along with broader commercial and fiduciary matters. This position is actively interviewing and offers a strong partner-track position for attorneys seeking diverse litigation exposure.This role is designed for a Litigation Attorney who wants hands-on responsibility across multiple practice areas. You will work directly on creditor rights matters, mineral lien disputes, and commercial litigation while developing a well-rounded litigation practice in a collaborative and supportive environment.________________________________________Key Responsibilities• Advise clients on creditor rights, collections, and bankruptcy-related litigation • Handle disputes involving mineral liens and oil and gas service companies • Manage litigation matters, including commercial and probate-related disputes • Negotiate pre-suit claims, settlements, and resolution strategies • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams • Manage deadlines and multiple matters simultaneously ________________________________________Qualifications• 2+ years of experience as a Bankruptcy Attorney, Creditor Rights Attorney, or Litigation Associate Attorney • Active Kentucky Bar required • Experience in collections, creditor-side litigation, or bankruptcy matters preferred • Ability to manage cases independently and handle multiple responsibilities • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills • Adaptability to work across commercial and fiduciary legal matters ________________________________________Education• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school ________________________________________Culture & Firm AppealThis opportunity is with a dynamic law firm that offers a collaborative and supportive work environment.
